発電所等におけるボイラ水の水質管理項目には、復水器以降での海水の漏洩検知や供給水の純水装置に使用するイオン交換樹脂のブレーク監視があり、導電率計が使用されます。
このアプリケーションでは、純水管理用のレンジと海水漏洩検知用の2レンジが必要ですが、異なるレンジでの2つの出力信号を出すことのできる FLXA402 を採用することにより、1台で両方の管理が可能となります。
なお、導電率計はボイラ水用純水の管理などにも使用されます。

バスバーまたはバスダクトの温度を正確に把握することができれば、過熱の発生箇所を特定し、破損や焼損を未然に防ぐことができます。YOKOGAWAのDTSXは、強電界下でも電磁ノイズの影響を受けない 『光ファイバケーブル』 を使用しているため、温度分布を1メートル単位で素早く正確に測定できます。また、連続的なバスバーの温度監視によって、過熱が起こっている箇所すなわちボルトの増し締めなどの保守作業が必要な箇所を特定することができます。
